The restaurant here was magnificent with creative food, we both ordered special dishes. Stunning location and helpful staff were a definite plus.

Food good but had just as good in b&b accomodation at half the the price.

Room was adequate but not luxurious. Shower screen was dirty from previous occupants. After we had complained and someone came to clean it, they left footmarks and grass off their shoes on the tray of the shower which we cleaned up our selves. The whole place seems tired and in need of money spending on it. It is unlikely we would ever stay there again.

The breakfast menu offers splendid food choices. the room and bathroom are immaculately clean, and the bathroom features a walk-in shower and shower facilities. the hotel is located in a beautiful, marvellous location in Sanquhar, conveniently close to the conservatory and multiple restaurants.

Everything about this hotel is delightful, the location on the banks of the Nith, the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff, and above all the food - the breakfast menu alone takes your breath away! A wonderful experience.

The breakfast was fresh and wonderful, had plenty of food. the hotel's location was particularly good in an area neglected by tourists from England. It was also very close to this' Restaurant with Rooms', the river which is beautiful, and the garden.
